Jango Fett

The LEGO Jango Fett and Boba Fett minifigures are modeled after their namesakes from the Star Wars films. Jango Fett was the father of Boba Fett, who was actually cloned from his father's DNA as were all of the clone troopers. Unlike the other clones, Boba was raised by Jango as his son. Both of these characters were highly skilled bounty hunters who were feared throughout the Galaxy.

The LEGO Star Wars Jango Fett minifigure was included in set 7153 Jango Fett's Slave I and 65153 Jango Fett's Slave I with Bonus Cargo Case. These sets are both the same except that one includes a carrying case. Included in each set is the Slave I ship as well as two minifigures: Jango Fett and the young version of Boba Fett. The two versions of the Slave I set are the only ones that include the LEGO Jango Fett minifigure. However, there was a Jango Fett pen released in 2009, which has a removable minifigure. The LEGO Jango Fett that comes with the pen does not have movable legs.

If you're looking for a LEGO Star Wars Boba Fett minifigure, you've got a lot to choose from. There is the classic gray Boba Fett, the young Boba Fett, the one with printed arms and legs, the new gray LEGO Boba Fett, the 2010 model, and the white Boba Fett. Boba first appeared in the 7144 Slave 1 set as a gray minifigure with a green helmet and armor. This version of the LEGO Boba Fett minifigure was also in the 3341 Star Wars #2 set and the 4476 Jabba's Prize set.

As mentioned above, Boba Fett appeared as a boy in the Slave I set. In this set, he is dressed in blue and has non-movable legs. The variation with printed arms appeared in the 10123 Cloud City set. An updated version of Boba Fett in a different shade of gray than the original appeared in the 6210 Jabba's Sail Barge set and the 6209 Slave I set. The LEGO Boba Fett minifigure was updated again in 2010, and this time the changes were significant. This minifigure has blue-gray arms and legs, dark gray hands, a red belt, and a mint green helmet and armor. He is also wearing a cape, which falls over his left shoulder.

There have been four promotional versions of the LEGO Boba Fett character, all of which were produced in limited quantities. The first is an all-white Boba with black markings on it. There were 10,000 made and some of them were given away at the Candian Toy Fair during 2010 and at LEGOLAND during Star Wars Days. There are also two solid bronza Boba Fett minifigures, two 14k gold minifigures, and two sterling silver minifigures. Most of these have been given away, but there is still one silver and one gold Boba Fett minifigure that are supposed to be given away during Star Wars Celebration V.
