Spider Droid
The Spider Droid mini figure is one of the most detailed mini figures in terms of design. This mini figure is also a rare collectible item for most LEGO construction toy collectors as well as Star Wars fans. The reason behind this is not just its great mini figure design but the fact that it has two different cool design variations which only appear once in separate Star Wars themed LEGO sets.
The 7258 Wookiee Attack set is the only set to ever include the Spider Droid mini figure in its cast of Star Wars LEGO mini figures. However, the great thing about this is the fact that the mini figure is a rare Blue version. The 7258 Wookiee Attack set made its debut in 2005 and it has a total of 366 LEGO pieces. Aside from the Blue version of the Spider Droid mini figure, this particular set also features two pieces each of the Wookiee Warrior mini figure and the Battle Droid mini figure. In addition to this, the 7258 Wookiee Attack set also includes a Wookiee vessel mini vehicle and a Corporate Alliance Tank Droid mini figure.
It was in January 2008 when the second LEGO Spider Droid mini figure was featured in a Star Wars themed LEGO set. However, unlike the previous Blue version, this mini figure has a totally new design. The Spider Droid Brown version mini figure was such a big hit among collectors because of its very detailed design. The mini figure stands on its four mechanical arms connected on its base. The base has a firing cannon at the front. The head of the mini figure also had two eye-like weapons and at the center top of its head is a black antenna. The entire body of the mini figure has a color combination of white, light stone grey, and mostly brown parts.
The 7670 Hailfire Droid And Spider Droid set features the Brown version mini figure of the Spider Droid. Furthermore, it also features mini figures of a Battle Droid Commander, a Super Battle Droid, and two pieces of the Battle Droid mini figure.
