Geonosian Pilot

If you or your child are into Star Wars The Clone Wars, then you will want to check out the LEGO Star Wars sets based off of this series. While there are many LEGO Star Wars sets to choose from, you will want to keep in mind that The Clone Wars sets feature character mini figures which are more cartoonish than the other LEGO sets. While many Star Wars characters from the initial films are available as mini figures in The Clone Wars sets, there are some which are unique to this specific line of Star Wars LEGOS.
The Geonosian Pilot LEGO mini figure was first introduced in 2003, as part of the marketing for Star Wars, Episode II: Attack of the Clones. According to Star Wars lore, at the beginning of the Clone Wars, squads of Geonosian fighters challenged the Jedi. The Geonosian Starfighters were manned by winged Geonosian pilots, who were assisted by battle droids. LEGO Star Wars set 4478 Geonosian Fighter comes with one Geonosian Pilot mini figure, one Geonosian soldier mini figure and two battle droids. The set contains 169 LEGO pieces total.
The Geonosian Pilot LEGO mini figure can also be found in LEGO Star Wars set 7959, Geonosian Starfighter. Technically this set is the second to be named ìGeonosian (Star)Fighter, after the set released in 2003. This new set was released in 2011 and contains 155 pieces, including the mini figures Commander Cody, Ki-Adi-Mundi, and the Geonosian Pillot. The Geonosian Starfighter set consists of pieces needed to construct a Geonosian starfighter, along with the three mini figures. It is based off of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars episode ìLanding At Point Rainî. This set can be purchased for around $29.99.
