LEGO Sets are arguably the most enjoyable building toy available. LEGO Bricks know no age barriers and have some of the most loyal fans of any product.
In recent years, The LEGO Group has expanded its reach into other areas besides just Building Blocks. Now you can find LEGO in many other forms such as LEGO Video Games and LEGO T-Shirts. Thankfully, however, the LEGO Group remains focused on producing the best product in their class.
Star Wars LEGO
Star Wars LEGOs are still by far the most popular of LEGO themes so you will see many more posts on RareBricks.com that are geared towards the Star Wars LEGOs system. RareBricks will also keep an up to date list of all Star Wars LEGO figures.
A sweet new version of the famous Millennium Falcon makes its way to LEGO in mid-scale. LEGO probably wants to make sure that every household in America has a LEGO Millennium Falcon. Why else would they release a third version of the Millennium Falcon for the New Hope line of Star Wars LEGO Sets? This set is much cheaper than its cousins coming in at around $45 USD.
The LEGO Millennium Falcon 7778 is much smaller than the other two versions and is much easier to build. To many fans of LEGO that actually like to play with their LEGO sets, this version of the Falcon will be much easier to handle and shouldn't hurt to bad when cousin Joey loses the satellite piece in the lawn.
I saw this LEGO set at the Mall of America a few days ago and had to get it. It's well worth the money and a great display set that does not take up near as much room as the other two Millennium Falcons.
A very cool set and it includes a pair of Wookie mini figures! If you don't like Wookies you are not at the right site. The Battle Droids are fairly common but the Spider Droid is a must for Star Wars LEGO collectors. Get the Wookie Attack 7258 for the Wookie mini figures.
The LEGO Group has released the Pirate Tank 7753 LEGO set for the LEGO Clone Wars series. This is a unique set because it has mini figures that rare pretty much exclusive to this set. It does come with Obi-Wan Kenobi but the two aliens are destined to be rare LEGO collectibles.
The Pirate Tank is very different from other LEGO Clone Wars sets as the Pirates have nothing to do with either the Seperatists or the Republic. These Pirates answer to nobody and pilage and plunder with no regard. The tank itself rolls on hidden wheels and is a very good rendition of the Clone Wars movie.
LEGO Video games are nothing new to LEGO fans or gamers. At the beginning of this year there were quite a few rumors about a possible LEGO Rock Band video game and while many people are saying that it probably isn't a good idea to combine the two many LEGO fans are pretty enthusiastic about the idea and so are Rock Band fans.
LEGO has been doing a great job in recent years of getting LEGO into just about everything, from building toys to t-shirts to video games. The LEGO Group has come a long way from being unwilling to create a LEGO theme from an already licensed trademark to now wanting to be a part of everything. This bodes well for LEGO fans as it allows our favorite hobby to get the attention it deserves.
LEGO Rock Band should be released sometime later this year around christmas time.
Here I have compiled a list of online resources that offer custom Halo LEGOs instructions for those who want to get started building their own custom Halo creations! Money is tight so buying custom Halo LEGO creations on eBay isn't always realistic. Use these links to find instructions for to build Halo sets out of your own LEGOs at home!
Halo LEGOs are definately in for you hard core Halo fans. The LEGO sets are pretty easy to build when you consider the pieces involved in the Mars and Space LEGO sets. LEGO Halo Minifigs are even easier of you have a little bit of patience and some paint!
The Ultimate Lightsaber Duel 7257 Star Wars LEGO Set is part of Episode III: Revenge Of The Sith LEGO Sets and was released in 2005. This LEGO set includes the Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi Star Wars LEGO Mini Figures. The Ultimate Lightsaber Duel 7257 LEGO Set does not appear in a search at LEGO.com and may no longer be available for purchase through LEGO.
The Ultimate Lightsaber Duel 7257 LEGO Set is one of my favorite Star Wars LEGO Sets because it's so interactive! You can actually play with a friend. The different parts of the system all work well together and it's also a great "background" set.
The Jedi Starfighter and Vulture Droid 7256 Star Wars LEGO Set is part of Episode III: Revenge Of The Sith LEGO Sets and was released in 2005. This LEGO Set has Anakin Skywalker and R2-D2's head. The Jedi Starfighter and Vulture Droid does not appear in a search at LEGO.com and may no longer be available for purchase through LEGO.
The Jedi Starfighter and Vulture droid is a fairly rare Star Wars LEGO Set and pricey if you can find one. The Anakin Skywalker minifig that comes with this one has one black right hand. It's a fairly small set but with two ships and the unique minifig, it's worth adding to your collection.
The General Grievous Chase 7255 Star Wars LEGO Set is part of Episode III: Revenge Of The Sith LEGO Sets and was released in 2005. This LEGO Set contains two Star Wars LEGO Mini Figures, Obi-Wan Kenobi and General Grievous. General Grievous Chase does not appear in a search at LEGO.com and may no longer be available for purchase from LEGO.
The General Grievous Chase is only one of two Star Wars LEGO Sets to contain the General Grievous mini figure. That by itself should be motivation for any die-hard LEGO collector to pick up this rare LEGO Set. Also, the contraption that General Grievous rolls around in is pretty cool!
The Droid Tri-Fighter 7252 Star Wars LEGO Set is part of Episode III: Revenge Of The Sith LEGO Sets and was released in 2005. This LEGO Set includes one Star Wars LEGO Mini Figure, a Buzz Droid. The Droid Tri-Fighter 7252 LEGO Set does not appear in a search at LEGO.com and may no longer be avialable for purchase through LEGO. You may find instructions for building the Droid Tri-Fighter here.
A cool build but has the problem of falling apart pretty often. Also, if you are not a fan of stickers, the Droid Tri-Fighter is certainly not for you. I'm a fan, but I'm a fan of any of the Star Wars LEGO Sets. It's a pretty rare LEGO Set so getting your hands on one is not really easy so you might want to stay away.
