With the massive popularity of the previous versions of the Slave 1 sets, you knew LEGO would capitalize with a new version eventually.  This time around the LEGO Slave 1 8097 has been redesigned as the version Boba Fett flew in the Empire Strikes Back and comes with everything you need recreate that scene.

One of the best features of this set is the LEGO Boba Fett mini figure.  It is the most detailed Boba Fett to date and extremely accurate.  With painted on battle damage, a helmet that is not attached to the rocket pack and other details, this Boba Fett will definitely become a highly sought after mini figure once this set sells out.  If the other Slave 1 LEGO sets are any indicator, this set will absolutely sell out quickly and become a hard to find set.

Another awesome feature with the Slave 1 8097 is the LEGO Han Solo mini figure.  In other version of the Slave 1, Han Solo would be painted onto the carbonite block but in this version you get an actual mini figure that fits into the carbonite block for ultra playability.

The ship is way cool to with colors that vibe fairly well with the original Star Wars film.  Get your hands on your set fast before they sell out and the price goes way up!

As Han Solo said to Chewbacca about the Lambda-class Imperial Shuttle: "I doubt the Empire had Wookiees in mind when they designed her, Chewie." Now you can take designing this infamous member of the Imperial Military Fleet into your own hands.

This large scale LEGO model of the elegant Star Wars vehicle has been designed authentically, with several true to the movie details and features. As seen in Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi, this commonly used Imperial transport is not your average space shuttle. With two rotating wing laser cannons, this Imperial shuttle is heavily armed enough to transport troops and even the highest ranking Imperial leaders.

The Lambda-class shuttle is the chosen transport for the Imperial elite, such as Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader, and features a tri-wing design, with a stationary central wing and two gear-driven folding side wings that fold up in landing position and fold down when taking off to all sorts of exotic locations across the galaxy. The folding action is controlled by turning two removable activation keys in the rear of the model. You can display this elegant work of Imperial engineering with its wings folded down on the included display stand or with its wings folded up on the removable landing gear. This model also features an opening cockpit roof, so you can recreate your favorite scenes by filling the four person cockpit with Emperor Palpatine and his royal guards or a covert Rebel strike team led by Han Solo en-route to the forest moon of Endor. This huge 2,503 piece set includes a display stand, name plate and label sheet, and measures 28? (71 cm) tall on stand and 22? (57 cm) wide with wings folded down. For the 10th year celebration of LEGO Star Wars, LEGO 8017 - Darth Vader’s personal TIE Fighter has been released. When constructed, this dark grey TIE fighter with red lasers on the front is an amazingly close replica of the Seth Lord’s personal fighter shown in the final battle of Episode IV: A New Hope. With an opening cockpit canopy, it is easy to place the included mini figure of LEGO Darth Vader (with cloak off) at the controls of his personal fighter.

Our favorite Seth Lord, Darth Vader has a new advanced model of the TIE fighter rather than the standard model. X-wing starfighters should prove no match to this tweeked out fighter of the dark lord’s. This vessel is customized with bent wings, a deflector shield, a hyperdrive and special flick firing missles. The missles stay fairly well hidden until the lever is activated to make them fire.

The LEGO 8017 brick set contains 251 pieces. Recommended for ages 7 - 12, the Darth Vader TIE Fighter brick set has warnings for children under age 3 as it contains small parts and represents a choking hazard to small children.

The LEGO Republic Attack Shuttle 8019 is driven by Jedi Master Mace Windu of the Star Wars Saga. This attack shuttle converts to landing mode. It has 8 semi-automatic flick firing missiles, dropping bombs, moveable collapsible wings, 3 mini figures, and there are two cannons on the side of the cockpit that rotate 360 degrees.

There are three LEGO Star Wars mini figures included with this set; Jedi Master Mace Windu, a Clone Pilot, and a Clone Trooper. The Republic attack shuttle fights against the separatist droid army and it fights with its awesome bombs and missiles. The Republic Attack Shuttle is measured at 9.5” long and an 18” wingspan. LEGO sets have been a part of child hood fun for a long time. The popularity of the Star Wars franchise has brought playing with LEGO sets to a whole new level.

The Star Wars the Clone Wars Republic Attack Gunship 7676 has opening bay doors, flick missiles and a speeder bike. The Lego's Star Wars the Clone Wars Republic Attack Gunship also comes with five mini figures: Commander Cody, Clone Trooper, Obi-Wan Kenobi, as well as Plo Koon and Sith Lord Asajj Ventress that comes with a new double light saber.

The front side compartments can open and the command station can be removed. There are two cockpits in front of the LEGO Republic Attack Gunship. There are also two cockpits on the wing sides that open as well! The eight missiles that are positioned on top as well as two missiles that rotate on the front. The speeder bike is stored in the back, which opens up to deploy it.

LEGO 7667 is also known as the Imperial Dropship, and coming with 81 pieces, it is worth ten dollars not including shipping and handling. LEGO 7667 has LEGO Star Wars figures that come with the set - one shadowtrooper and three stormtroopers.

The LEGO 7667 was released in 2008. LEGO 7667 Imperial Starship is a light gunship, used for deploying troopers onto the battlefield. Shadowtroopers and Stormtroopers are the ones who fly the Imperial Starship. The LEGO 7667 features a laser cannon and troop platform. The LEGO 7667 measures 4 inches long, and is a simple way to start building an army. What better way to do so than to collect a pilot and three stormtroopers? In addition, the Imperial Dropship can be easily used for ambush while simultaneously knocking out a few enemies. The Dropship actually drops the soldiers, and only when you want it to.

There are cons, however. The ship is uneven when flying, as a result of not enough stormtroopers. The cockpit piece falls off every now and then, and the helmets fall off. Overall, most of the customer ratings have been a five out of ten. Everything seems to fall off, and the Dropship seems to not have enough room for the guns. It is a good LEGO set because of the boost for your Stormtrooper army.

LEGO Death Star

The new LEGO Death Star 10188 playset was released in September 2008 to wide and well-deserved acclaim. Unlike the previous Death Star 10143, which was primarily designed for diorama use, the 10188 model is designed for playability; it includes 24 minifigures, including six exclusive new figures created specifically for this set. New minifigures and droids available for the first time in this set include Luke Skywalker and Han Solo in Stormtrooper outfits, Assassin Droid, Interrogation Droid, Death Star Droid, and two Death Star Troopers. For the first time, the Dianoga trash monster is also available; this allows recreation of the famous trash compactor scene from Episode IV, including Luke and Leia’s escape from the detention center and slide through the secret hatch.

Boasting 3,803 pieces, the LEGO Death Star 10188 offers four levels of authentic movie settings. Setup is a lengthy process; the spiral-bound instruction book is over 250 pages long, with 193 separate steps to completion. The finished result is nothing short of stunning, however, with removable walls, chairs that spin, and guns that rotate allowing multiple angles of fire from the Death Star death ray lasers. Authentic movie designs from Episodes IV and VI of the Star Wars Saga set the scene for hours of realistic play with this detailed playset. The Death Star features multiple decks which house the Death Star control room, Emperor’s throne Room, hangar bay complete with Darth Vader’s own TIE Advanced Starfighter, Imperial conference chamber, droid maintenance facility, and many other rooms suitable for playing out your favorite scenarios.

When assembled, the LEGO Death Star 10188 weighs about twenty pounds. It is remarkably sturdy for a set of this size and complexity, and stands up to moving reasonably well. There are a few fragile elements on the completed Death Star; the death ray lasers, for instance, are easy to dislodge, and a few small parts may come loose. These are easily replaced, and the overall playset is solid and well designed. Die-hard Star Wars purists may criticize the inclusion of elements from the original Death Star and the Death Star II in one unit, but given the added scenarios these inclusions make possible, this seems more a quibble than a genuine drawback to the set.

Overall, the LEGO Death Star 10188 playset is well worth its price tag; it offers hours of fun, both in building and in playing out your favorite Death Star scenes. The set includes nearly all the central Episode IV and VI characters, making it convenient and easy to portray classic scenes like the Throne Room duel between Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader. The set is recommended for ages 12 and up.

Millennium Falcon 7778

A sweet new version of the famous Millennium Falcon makes its way to LEGO in mid-scale.  LEGO probably wants to make sure that every household in America has a LEGO Millennium Falcon.  Why else would they release a third version of the Millennium Falcon for the New Hope line of Star Wars LEGO Sets?  This set is much cheaper than its cousins coming in at around $45 USD.

The LEGO Millennium Falcon 7778 is much smaller than the other two versions and is much easier to build.  To many fans of LEGO that actually like to play with their LEGO sets, this version of the Falcon will be much easier to handle and shouldn't hurt to bad when cousin Joey loses the satellite piece in the lawn.

I saw this LEGO set at the Mall of America a few days ago and had to get it.  It's well worth the money and a great display set that does not take up near as much room as the other two Millennium Falcons.

Wookie Attack 7258

The Wookie Attack 7258 Star Wars LEGO Set is part of the  Episode III: Revenge  Of  The Sith LEGO Sets and was released in 2005.  This LEGO Set includes the following Star Wars mini figures: Wookie Warrior, Battle Droid Minifigure, Spider Droid.  The Wookie Attack does not appear in a search at LEGO.com and may no longer be available for sale by the LEGO Group.

A very cool set and it includes a pair of Wookie mini figures!  If you don't like Wookies you are not at the right site.  The Battle Droids are fairly common but the Spider Droid is a must for Star Wars LEGO collectors.  Get the Wookie Attack 7258 for the Wookie mini figures.

Pirate Tank 7753

The LEGO Group has released the Pirate Tank 7753 LEGO set for the LEGO Clone Wars series.  This is a unique set because it has mini figures that rare pretty much exclusive to this set.  It does come with Obi-Wan Kenobi but the two aliens are destined to be rare LEGO collectibles.

The Pirate Tank is very different from other LEGO Clone Wars sets as the Pirates have nothing to do with either the Seperatists or the Republic.  These Pirates answer to nobody and pilage and plunder with no regard.  The tank itself rolls on hidden wheels and is a very good rendition of the Clone Wars movie.
