Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince

The Harry Potter Hogwarts 4867 set was released in june 2011 and contains 446 bricks and eight LEGO mini figures. This set is based off a section of the Hogwarts Castle and is focused on a scene from the movies known as the Battle Of Hogwarts. In this scene Death Eaters attack only part of the castle which is why only a section of the castle is portrayed. This set is meant for ages 7-14 because it is a little more difficult to put together than the previous sets. This is a newer version of the castle that has been released and has a couple different features than the other sets released in the previous years. The cool thing about these towers is that it has the capability of being connected to towers in previous sets.

The castle is made of green,brown,tan and grey bricks. The two towers are divided by a small bridge known as the exploding bridge because if a mini figure is standing on it, it has the capability of flinging the figure in the air. The left tower has the room with the famous Mirror of Erised. On the floor beneath this you will find Professor Lupin's office that includes a chair and a desk. This tower also includes a dungeon but the ceiling is too low to put a mini figure in. The right tower has the Divination Room that includes tea cups for tea leaf reading and a crystal ball. The second floor contains the Room Of Requirement and the last floor has another dungeon with green snakes.

The figures in this set are Harry Potter, Professor Lupin, Gregory Goyle, Neville Longbottom, Professor Sprout, Lucius Malfoy, and a Dementor are included. The Harry Potter figure has black messy hair and is wearing his hogwarts uniform. The first Harry figure was released in 2001. The Professor Lupin mini figure was released in 2004 and has red hair and a brown suit. The Gregory Goyle mini figure was released in 2002. The new and imporved 2011 design is featured in this set. There is a Neville Longbottom figure in this set as well and it was first released in 2004. He is featured wearing black slacks and a grey sweater. The Professor Sprout minif figure was released in 2010 and was first released in this LEGO set. He is displayed wearing all brown with a brown hat. Lucius Malfoy was first released in 2002 and is wearing all black with a black cape and blonde hair. He is featured in a handful of LEGO sets. The Dementor figure is all black and was first featured in a set in 2004. This set is great for fans who want to collect all of the different versions on the castle of Hogwarts. You will truly enjoy reenacting scenes from the movies with these sets!
