LEGO Wookiee Catamaran 7260

The LEGO Wookiee Catamaran 7260 set contains all of the pieces you need to recreate the wookiee catamaran, which was also called an oevvaor jet catamaran. This craft had very tough hulls that were made of wroshyr wood. It had two engines similar to those found in podracers, as well as a twin repulsorlift for atmospheric flight.

Although the Wookiee catamaran was not designed for battle, it was used for defense during the invasion of Kashyyyk. The ships did not have any weapons. Instead, the passengers used their own weapons, which were supported by mounts on the catamaran. The 7260 Wookiee catamaran features a rotating engine, missile launcher, bomb release, and blaster cannons.

In addition to the LEGO Star Wars Wookiee catamaran, the Wookiee catamaran LEGO set includes a swamp speeder and six LEGO Star Wars minifigures. The minifigures are Yoda, a Wookiee warrior, Chewbacca, Luminara Unduli, and two siege battalion troopers. The Luminara Unduli minifigure has a lightsaber that glows when you press down on her head. There are only five Star Wars minifigures that have glowing lightsabers. The Luminara Unduli light-up lightsaber minifig has only appeared in the LEGO Wookiee Catamaran 7260 set. The 7869 Battle for Geonosis, which is expected to be released in January 2011, will have a Luminara Unduli minifigure. However, this version of Luminara does not have a light-up lightsaber.

The siege battalion trooper minifigures have not appeared in any other set besides the LEGO Wookiee Cataman 7260 set. This character is a Phase II clone trooper. The Wookie warrior minifigure comes with a black spear and appears in two different LEGO Star Wars sets: 7258 Wookiee Attack and 7260 Wookiee Catamaran.

The Yoda minifigure has appeared in four sets in two different versions, the movie variation and the Clone Wars variation. The LEGO sets that have included a Yoda minifigure are 4502 X-wing Fighter, 7103 Jedi Duel, 7260 Wookiee Catamaran, and 8018 Armored Assault Tank (AAT).

Chewbacca is undoubtedly the most well-known Wookiee. He was a strong and loyal character who helped Yoda escape during the invasion of Kashyyyk. He became friends with Han Solo and fought with him in many battles. Although Chewbacca, like all Wookiees, was unable to speak Basic due to the limitations of the Wookiee vocal structure, he understood it and was able to communicate with his companions. The Chewbacca minifigure has appeared in twelve different LEGO Star Wars sets.
